The results of REF 2021 will be announced on 12 May 2022. Today individual institutions will receive their results.
As with all such exercises, some universities will be disappointed with the outcome while others will have done better than expected. University leaders, governing bodies, and the wider university community will be seeking a swift analysis of the results and an assessment of progress against their research strategy.
Halpin exists to support Universities to respond to the challenges they face and increase their impact. With this in mind, we have brought together a Research Excellence team that can support Universities to deliver their research goals.
“Our team can support you to analyse your REF results, benchmark and review your current research strategy or develop a new strategy. We can also provide ongoing support with strategy implementation and guide your researchers – from early career researchers through to the research stars of the future.” Susie Hills, Joint CEO and Co-Founder Halpin.
“Institutions need to learn the lessons from REF 2021 in order to put in place the best foundations for future research and impact. This can be achieved with careful planning, leadership and strategy, delivered with pace, in an enabling environment where researchers can be supported to be their best.” Professor Saul Becker, former Provost of the University of Sussex and a Halpin Senior Adviser.
