Business Support Assistant (full time, remote, £25,000 pa)

As the Business Support Assistant, you will undertake work across our operations, sales and business development functions. Reporting to Charlotte Stewart (Halpin’s Director of Operations) the Business Support Assistant is central to the day-to-day running of Halpin and will support the flow of information between our sales and business development activity, systems and people.

You will be able to self-direct and be a natural problem solver. You should enjoy working with and learning about new systems and tools (relating to people, customers, and projects) and be able to make yourself indispensable, swiftly becoming the much-needed central support across the business.

Client Services Coordinator (9 months’ Maternity Cover, full time, remote, £25,000 pa)

As our Client Services Coordinator you will be responsible for the administration and coordination of activity related to our projects and consulting teams. Reporting to Rachael Magee (Head of Client Services) you will help coordinate our projects and consultants across our service areas of HE governance, strategy and fundraising. You will play a key role in ensuring that Halpin delivers quality consultancy that meets our clients’ needs and has lasting impact.

Although the primary focus of the Client Services Coordinator role is on administrative support, we are invested in developing our staff and there will be significant scope for personal development within the role. Subject to your skills, interests, and aspirations you will have opportunities to participate more actively in projects e.g., by undertaking research, report writing, supporting workshops.

Consulting Fellows & Senior Advisors

Twice a year we seek new consultants to join our community of Consulting Fellows and Senior Advisors. We’re looking for experienced consultants with a strong knowledge of higher education and a track record of delivering change. We particularly encourage applications from those who have worked across higher education. We welcome individuals who contribute to sector thought leadership by writing, presenting at conferences and interacting on social media.

Our Consulting Fellows are self-starters who are happy to work remotely on their own or as part of a team. They are committed to delivering high-quality work on time and on budget. They are passionate about the higher education sector and the impact our clients can have. Does this sound like you?
