Antony has 25 years of experience of delivering consultancy, specialist research and bid writing services for clients, predominantly in the public and charitable sectors.
Central to his approach in meeting client objectives is building and maintaining collaborative relationships and applying robust analytical thinking, strong verbal and written communication capabilities and the ability to be highly adaptable and problem solve.
Antony’s most recent activity has been a two-year retainer with the South West Academic Health Science Network. Business development activities have included building and extending a business development pipeline, including working with a range of diverse partners to secure funding from major national funders (e.g. the King’s Fund, the Health Foundation and the National Lottery Community Fund) and various local and national NHS organisations.
Research activities have included undertaking Rapid Cycle Learning research to assist local health and care systems to understand and capitalise on learning gained from their collaborative responses to the pandemic (including for three emergent integrated care systems and the Nightingale Hospital, Exeter).
Despite having experience of working in a broad range of sectors, a significant proportion of Antony’s work has been with statutory bodies and charities that deliver critical services, often to the most vulnerable in society. This work in the social sector has been instrumental in shaping his wider perspectives.
