Carmel joined Halpin in summer 2023 and plays a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of the business, strengthening the performance, productivity, and efficiency of the wider team.
Originating from Trinidad and Tobago, Carmel has over 20 years of experience providing professional support in operations and administrative structure and team development.
She brings considerable experience working in multi-stakeholder environments and has held roles with the United National Development Programme, the Inter-American Development Bank, Family Court of Trinidad and Tobago and numerous global non-profits.
With a background in Information Systems Management, Carmel is a certified business professional in Project Management, specialising in administrative technology and automation of routine tasks. She was responsible for leading and educating teams throughout the Caribbean on using progressive systems and applications, including accounting software, mass communication procedures and organisational apps.
Carmel is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed.
