Nicki Horseman has worked in higher education for the past 20 years. She has extensive experience in strategic planning and institutional research from leading teams providing data and insight on all aspects of university activity.
She has expert knowledge of higher education within the sector both for the institutions’ own development but also in the generation of sector-wide comparisons having worked on both UK and global university league tables.
Most recently Nicki was a principal consultant at Times Higher Education providing analysis and advice to universities in over 20 different countries and advising government bodies on the development of their own in-country higher education evaluation systems.
Nicki has extensive experience in bringing data to life and helping organisations develop the effective use of information and she provided evidence to the House of Commons Education Select Committee on the feasibility of the Teaching Excellence Framework metrics.
