Mike is an experienced fundraiser and nonprofit consultant who is deeply committed to the philanthropic sector. He believes nonprofits are the key to making our communities, and the world, a better place.
As a senior philanthropy advisor for the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, Mike works directly with HNW individuals and families, and generous companies, to provide philanthropic counsel and guidance. As he seeks to identify a donor’s philanthropic priorities and create giving plans, he is well versed in complex gift vehicles and structures, and a wide variety of tools and strategies to increase donors’ impact and effectiveness.
Previous to his current role, Mike worked for a global consulting firm and supported clients in the US and UK. He has worked with more than 40 organizations to help them achieve ever-increasing levels of fundraising success.
He seeks to truly understand a client’s needs and use fundraising best practices, existing models, and creativity to address and respond to challenges, and offer recommendations for growth. He has directly solicited 6- and 7-figure gifts; crafted compelling giving opportunities and campaign messaging; conducted in-depth analysis on topics from major gift productivity, to donor engagement, and fundraising growth potential; built moves management processes and managed major gift pipelines; coached fundraisers and leaders on cultivation and solicitation strategy; and managed multiple capital and comprehensive campaigns.
