Suzie is an experienced and enthusiastic fundraiser and project manager, with a proven track record of creating significant step changes in desired outcomes. She does this by taking existing projects, systems and processes and making them more efficient and fit-for-purpose.
Suzie has worked across Russell Group, post-92 Million+, and small specialist universities. This insight has allowed her to see first-hand the complexities and challenges facing different types of higher education institutions. Suzie’s work has gone a long way in underpinning an organisation’s strategic objectives, primarily by working to build strong, passionate alumni communities that contribute widely to its success.
She began her career at the University of Exeter, working as part of the organisation’s £23M Jubilee campaign. While at Exeter, she focused on individual giving, legacy marketing and administration, and was among the first to combine legacy fundraising with telephone campaigns. She went on to build the regular giving and online function at London South Bank University, and more recently undertook the responsibility for creating and implementing an alumni relations engagement strategy at Ravensbourne. She now works primarily with digital fundraising, using online software platforms to manage mass donations.
